About the event
“Jane Austen with a schmear” - Susan Isaacs, best selling author, screen writer, and previous editor at Seventeen magazine and freelace political speechwriter.
An alumna of Queens College, Isaacs chaired the board of directors of Poets & Writers, the literary organization, for 20 years. She is past president of Mystery Writers of America and is a member of the National Book Critics Circle, PEN, and the International Association of Crime Writers.
She has written fifteen best-selling novels such as Compromising Positions, Lily White, and Shining Through.
