Daphne Merkin, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Writer

Daphne Merkin is an American novelist, essayist, and literary critic. A graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University, she began her career as a book and movie critic for various magazines, including Commentary. Her latest novel, 22 Minutes of Unconditional Love, was published in July 2020.
